Contains Previously Unreleased Video Material
This is the second volume in a continuing series of exquisite Lennon audio and video releases
that contain extremely rare or previously unheard/unseen material.
This volume covers the period of December 1974 to November 1975 and includes
the events centred around the "Walls and Bridges" album.
Plus the second half of John's 18-month lost weekend in Los Angeles,
his return to New York, and his reconciliation with Yoko.

The 24 page stiff card booklet for the TMOQ Gazette has a much more detailed write-up from which the above was extracted.
It also has a page about the background to John's "lost weekend", a write-up about the DVD and the C.D.
An interview with John for Hit Parader magazine with Lisa Robinson in December 1975 and a nice letter from John to George.

Faulty Discs !
The initial first release of this set had a DVD that had missing pieces that were listed on the cover and were NOT on the disc.
This first issue disc had a running time of 90:30 .... therefore 15 minutes of missing material !
Here at JPGR we have been coming across bootlegs since the 70's and have encountered many errors and mis-pressings along the way, but,
that has always been the chance you take and sometimes you lost out.
HMC seem to have a certain pride about their product though and immediately the fault was noted they promised a free replacement of the faulty disc.
True to their word this disc was supplied as an extra with Volume 4 of this series.
Amazing service to their customers and we at JPGR salute you.

18 Un Jour Futur 18th March 1975
At the Dakota, John records his second interview with the journalist Jean-Francois Vallee
(his first being on December 14, 1971), this time for inclusion in the French television programme Un Jour Futur.
His piece, entitled "Il Etait Une Fois John Lennon (Once Upon A Time There Was John Lennon)",
is produced by Michael Lancelot and features John, besides speaking on the telephone,
being interviewed while sitting on the floor.
Among many topics of conversation, he discusses Paul's drug taking admission to ITN news in 1967,
The Beatles as "world leaders", his visit to Paris in 1961 and the trademark Beatle haircut and collarless jacket.
He also reveals how he incorporated reggae into the 1964 Beatles tune 'I Call Your Name'.
At one stage, he goes out onto the balcony and performs a mock magical trick with a handkerchief,
which appears from the bottom of his trousers.
Inside his apartment again, this time solo on the piano, John performs a unique version of Labelle's hit,
"Lady Marmalade" (Voulez Vous Coucher Avec Moi, Ce Soir).
(John appears in the interview wearing a T-shirt that has that logo stamped on to it.)
For its first television broadcast, on Saturday June 28, and for the benefit of the non-English speaking French viewers,
Lancelot strangely dubs John's answers with two separate male/female French voices.
Sections of the interview where John speaks frankly about sex and drugs are deemed too risky for transmission and
were never screened at the time.
Later in the day, the concluding part of the Old Grey Whistle Test show takes place at the Hit Factory studios in New York,
where John and his band film studio performances of 'Slippin' And Slidin' ' and 'Stand By Me'. Both seen here.
