(from the release notes)
This is the famous tape collection of early White Album era early mixes given to the actor Peter Sellers by his friend Ringo in 1968. Twenty-one years later, in 1989, this tape was put up for auction by a close relative after Peter's death. Possibly one of the most important tapes of studio sessions to surface from that time it first appeared on CD in 1990 on Unsurpassed Masters Vol.4 from Yellow Dog, but was issued in better quality by Masterdisc who claimed they used the Master tape.

This issue is remastered from the Masterdisc issue (MDCD001) of "The Peter Sellers Tape" - the best known source of this famous tape.
All track pitch, phase and level corrected and tape drop-outs repaired.
