PETER AND GORDON

The second release for Peter Asher and Gordon Waller, again penned by messrs. Lennon and McCartney.

It was recorded on 21st January 1964 at Abbey Road in the same sessions that "A World Without Love" was completed. This follow-up release also had an arrangement by Geoff Love and was produced by Norman Newell.

It entered the chart just one week after release, but only managed to reach no. 10 in the chart.

The Beatles never recorded this song.

"Nobody I Know" is one of 20 songs that can be found on the essential E.M.I. album, The Songs Lennon and McCartney Gave Away.
