U.K. L.P. Chart Detail : Promo ONLY - Did NOT Chart
Detail : A scarce and interesting official U.K. Abbey Road Promo Only vinyl L.P. issued in 1982 to celebrate 50 years of Abbey Road studios.

The Beatles are represented on 3 tracks of the 24, with "She Loves You", George's "My Sweet Lord", and Paul's "Mull Of Kintyre". Plus as composers of two others.
The other tracks are all Abbey Road favourites, 24 tracks that covered the top slot in the chart for 87 weeks.
The only oddities are the two tracks that did not reach the upper echelon ...

The sleeve contains a potted history of the legendary studios, the track listing and an advert for a book called, "The Book of the Record of the Studio: Abbey Road" by Brian Southall. Published by Patrick Stephens Limited, price £6:95.
