THE GET BACK JOURNALS II(The Twickenham Sessions)Discs 7 & 8DISC SEVEN chronicles the January 9th session, including rehearsals of "Two of Us", "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window", "Across The Universe" and "Let It Be". Note Paul's sly comment on "oriental influence" that which he wishes wasn't present. DISC EIGHT: begins with George's dramatic post-lunch departure from the group, on January 10th, and the other Beatles surprising reaction (or virtual non-reaction) to it. The remainder of the disc contains a number of George-less performances of varying degrees of interest (if not musical quality).
