Volume 21

No Tracklisting Comments Time
Tracks 1-3 are from the first day of the Double Fantasy sessions.
Complete rehearsal session tapes, they include studio chat, several breakdowns and complete run throughs.
But, they sound like a "monitor track" of Vocal booth outtake as the band are way down the mix, with John way upfront.

Someone mentions dinner, John says, "Let's do dinner after a take."
They do get the coffees in though, and manage a take.

John orders sushi from somewhere on 45th St. The others start cancelling their deli orders and switch to sushi too.

John and Yoko appear in the show backed by members of the group David Peel and The Lower East Side. They actually performed "Attica State", "Luck Of The Irish", "Sisters 0 Sisters" and "John Sinclair".
The show was recorded 16th December 1971 and broadcast 13th January 1972.

Tracks 1-13 is the complete tape recorded in their room at the
St. Regis Hotel, New York for their unreleased film "Clock".
It was started Friday 10th Spetember 1971.
A few pauses here and there, but for the first time the tape is presented intact.
(It runs for 28 minutes 30 seconds)
There are a few unlisted snatches of other pieces that John touches on.
I've added Shazam below as he does do about one minute of that one.

Klaus Voorman, Allen Ginsberg, Jim Keltner, Mal Evans, Neil Aspinall and Eric Clapton.
John and his crowd even attempt some of Paul's numbers !
For the first time the tape is presented complete and intact.
