U.K. Album Chart Detail : |
| ||||||
Detail : | A beautiful looking and comprehensive five-disc box set, all housed within a simple box. But once again discs barely half full and some odd mixing choices and selections. All of the music on the five c.d.'s would easily fit on less than three discs ! And in fact, losing just the odd track already issued on Anthology 2, it would all fit on two !!
The set includes a new stereo remix of the album by Giles Martin, with the help of de-mixing technology developed by Peter Jackson's WingNut Films,
The deluxe edition also includes a 100-page book featuring a foreword by Paul McCartney, an introduction by Giles Martin,
Along with the restoration of the original album artwork by Voormann, the record sleeve that holds the session outtakes features This set is available in a variety of formats, including :
Revolver Special Edition (Super Deluxe): - 63 tracks
Revolver Special Edition (Super Deluxe): - Vinyl Version
Revolver Special Edition (Deluxe): - 29 tracks
Revolver Special Edition (Standard) - 14 tracks
Revolver Special Edition (Standard) - Vinyl Version
Revolver Special Edition (Picture Disc) - Vinyl

1 | Paperback Writer | 2022 Stereo Mix First that hits you - the drums are too loud. Way too loud. Vocals seem a little lost in a muddy sound. |
2:16 |
2 | Rain | 2022 Stereo Mix Oddly, the drums are lower in the mix. Surely this track is often said to be one of Ringo's playing highlights, so why have they been mixed down ?? |
