Detail : "Eight Days A Week" had been considered as a single in England, but was discarded in favour of "I Feel Fine". Which was a great shame (why couldn't we have had both ?), because this is a track which always get great reaction at party's. In the United States this record sold over a million copies and was another chart-topper.

First pressings were on Capitol in 1965 with the label being the orange and yellow "swirl", and WITHOUT "A Subsidiary of ..." in the perimeter print. This initial issue also came in two different sleeves.
Second pressings were made in 1968, as above but WITH "A Subsidiary of ...".
Third pressings was 1969 on the Capitol red and orange "Target" style label with a Capitol "dome" logo.
A Fourth press also appeared in 1969 on the Capitol red and orange "Target" style label with a Capitol "round" logo.

In 1971 "Eight Days A Week" first appeared on Apple with two different label variations, my example pictured above NOT having a star on the label, others do.
A third Apple version was issued in 1975 which added the disclaimer "All Rights Reserved".

In 1976 and in 1978 two more Capitol versions were issued, the first with Orange label, the second on Purple.
