The Sundown Playboys were a French-language cajun band from Louisiana. There are no Production credits on either side record label.
Originally released as a 7" single with a picture sleeve. This scarce recording was also issued by Apple Records as a very rare TEN INCH vinyl disc playing at 78 rpm.
The original disc was issued in a very limited quantity on the custom Apple label with 'Mfd in U.K.' label text. The 10" vinyl disc came in a pink and white printed sleeve as can be seen above.
Note, if you want to find this actual a-side without parting with hard cash for a rare bit of vinyl,
"Under The Influence" is a series of various artist compilation albums released by DMC UK. To see where this single release sits in the apple releases, see the Apple Records Single Listing. |
