Comments : A two C.D. set featuring sound recordings of Paul's rehearsals for his New World Tour of 1993 - plus - a concert from two years prior to this !

The bad news is, it's been a along time since I heard a bootleg of this poor quality. Instead of what we have now become used to, live performances recorded straight from the soundboard, this is ye olde hand held surreptitious recording device from within the audience.

The good news is, it's a specially invited small audience, and one can hear a relaxed McCartney quiping his way through the links of many fine performances.

The New World Tour 1993 kicked off on 18th February 1993 in Italy, and comprised 5 distinct movements.
1st leg : 18-23 February in Europe (Italy and Germany)
2nd leg : 5-27 March in The New World (Australia and New Zealand)
3rd leg : 14 April - 15th June in North America (U.S. and Canada)
4th leg : 3 Sept. - 27 Oct in England and Europe.
5th leg : 12 Nov. - 16th Dec. in Japan, Mexico and Brazil.
... BUT before all this he performed some rehearsal concerts, firstly in Pinewood Studios, Bucks, and then in February 1993 Paul and his band rehearsed at the London Docklands Arena for 3 days ... 3rd, 4th and 5th Feb.
On the 5th, Paul gathered a press contingent together to announce the "New World Tour", and to allow them to witness a "secret" rehearsal concert beginning at 7:30 which also includes amongst the specially invited 3000 guests, fan club members and 25 winners of a Daily Mirror competition.
It is this concert that appears here (as mentioned before, recorded from within the audience).

Plus, concert material from two years earlier when Paul and his band appeared at my local theatre, the Cliffs Pavilion, Westcliff-On-Sea, Essex on 19th July 1991.

Incidentally, the docklands concert we hear here, is also the one found on the bootleg, "By Invitation Only" ... only on this double C.D. we also get the Cliff`s concert !
