The tenth official EMI release.
No significant label changes, or versions of this disc at all, most originals should look as above.
Although, there is a change to the labelling EMI used as from this disc. On 1st July 1965, EMI merged all its roster labels
into one parent company, the "Gramophone Company Ltd.". Therefore from this single onwards, the small "rights of the
manufacturer" statement around the outside edge of the label, began with the new company name instead of "The Parlophone Co. Ltd.".
Yet again though, this changeover wasn't immediate, so look out for some copies with either statement printed ! ... and would
you believe it, this situation applied right up to 1969 releases !
Incidentally, the cost of this record in 1965 was 6/8d (six shillings and eight pence).
And below, the picture disc version released in England as part of the,
"It Was Twenty Years Ago" series, on 23rd July 1985.
Digital Downloads
In 2010 iTunes (a digital download agency) were given access to The Beatles product, which now meant each track was available to download to internet connected devices.
These downloads had to be paid for and the number of sales were permitted to be counted for chart purposes (although JPGR doesn't concur with this process).
21st November 2010 - Help! was listed in the singles chart at number 99 (which is outside the Top 75 and doesn't count for longevity purposes).
