I have an AWFUL lot of info on this sale. I had a chum who was working in Sotheby's.
Consequently, at the time of the sale, my pal invited me in the day BEFORE and I was able to peruse, touch, inspect and play every item. (I have the pictures ! ... which will be on this page VERY soon)
There were 477 lots, of which the first 133 were "various artists", then lots 134-477 were all Beatle lots. I have details of every lot ... how much it sold for, and even the name of who to !
I have a lot to write about this sale ... (including the lots I bid for, and how I was outbid by big conglomerates ... pah !)
