Detail : | George Harrison's seventh solo album release, and last album on Apple. Produced by OHNONOTHIMAGEN George Harrison. The title "Extra Texture" had been suggested by Paul Stallworth who appears on three tracks. The cover is a thicky than usual card with a textured feel to it. It was designed by Roy Kohara with photographs by Henry Grossman. The inner sleeve (shown above) just has the two pictures of George. The label is the same style as that used on the single You, with the Apple core. George Peckham mastered the album as can be seen with two trademark quotes in the run-out grooves. The A-side run-out groove has "A PORKY TONE PRIME CUT" etched into it, whilst the B-side has a message from George P to George H. "OOH GEORGE, YOU'RE SUCH A DARK HORSE, LUV GEORGE"
Danny Kootch doesn't appear on this record. |
